A Montreal-born, Los Angeles-based gentleman who earned his BA at Yale University, Chris worked an eclectic blend of jobs on his road to becoming a GMAT teacher. He was a bartender, babysat for the Schwarzeneggers, taught a class on Hollywood Negotiating at USC, worked at Google, and has directed several feature films. But it’s hard to beat the joy he gets from helping his students overcome their stumbling blocks and ace the GMAT.

Having sat through his fair share of monotonous classes, Chris feels for you. That's why he works hard to make the learning experience as enjoyable as it is educational, employing an arsenal of humor and positivity in his classroom. In his years as an instructor he has grown to appreciate the art of providing simple explanations that "stick." He cares deeply about helping his students improve their performance, and feels no greater happiness than when his students reach out to let him know they just got into their dream school.

Outside of teaching, Chris loves it when all the traffic lights ahead are green, as if life is saying "Go."

Ceilidh has worked in education for over 15 years, teaching students, developing learning systems, and creating curricula across a wide range of topics. She earned her BA from Princeton University and a master’s degree in educational neuroscience from Harvard University.
